I haven't started using Facebook yet but after Holly showed me how it works this morning, I'm sold on it! What a great way to keep in touch with thousands of my closest friends.
We are also looking at Twitter and at improving our blogging system. Automation is really the key to everything!

Many thanks to Holly (and Larry) for the great day in Springfield. Holly makes it look so easy and was very patient in helping those of us who attended with any questions and problems. We all had a great time digitizing right along with Holly. You were right, Holly, it is great software and I am having a ball "playing with" my trial version. I would recommend these seminars to anyone and everyone! Thanks again, Karen M

Thanks Karen! Glad you had a good time and was able to take the trial home. Now you know why I love the software. I appreciate your kind words and the hard work you did during the seminar. I enoyed it! 8-)
Sorry I was not available yesterday. I was pretty sick. Went to Doc and got meds. Went to bed. Feeling better today, about 60%. Tomorrow should be even better. Must get better for Saturday's Digitize in a Day workshop. 8-)
"Digitize In A Day" @ Norfolk VA Saturday Nov 14th 2009
"Digitize In A Day" is a one-day workshop where you learn how to digitize embroidery designs using BOTH auto-digitizing AND manual-punch as well as when each method is best!
We provide a full working copy of Generations software so everyone in the class is using the same software and can follow along, clicking their mouse in exactly the same place. Bring your own laptop computer if you have one or can borrow one. It must be in good working order and must have Windows-XP or Vista operating system on it. There wil be no time for trouble-shooting computers that don't work during the seminar. If you don't have a laptop available, call me as we can provide a couple of laptop computers for students at each seminar.
If you already have digitizing software, much of what you learn at the seminar will apply to any quality digitizing program in use today. While we will be using Generations to learn, most of the basic digitizing concepts can be transferred to other software programs.
The day starts promptly at 8 am with a short introduction to digitizing and then gets directly into the first part of the seminar... manual digitizing! Holly will show you step-by-step how to create several embroidery designs and our students will make the designs right along with Holly.
Next, Holly shows you how to make that auto-digitized design even better by teaching you the little things that can improve an auto-digitized design and make it something anyone would be proud to put on thier own website or stitch out.
When you leave the seminar at 5 pm you will have the option to take home a full working copy of Generations software for a 30 day home trial! In addition, you'll have access to our online videos covering the basics of the techniques shown in the seminar in small 5 minute videos. During that 30 day trial period, you'll also have access to our special "Generations Forum" where you can ask questions, upload artwork or designs you need help with, and see the work your classmates are doing too.
The one-day seminar, 30-day trial copy of Generations software, access to our website, videos, and Generations Forum, are all included in the cost of the "Digitize In A Day" seminar.
Cost of the seminar is $149 at the door if there is room available.
If you buy your ticket in advance we take $50 off the price and...
YOU GET ALL THIS FOR ONLY $99!
If you have questions about the seminars, please feel free to call me at 847-946-1342 with questions.
